Hollydale Regional Park

Location: 5400 Monroe Ave, South Gate, CA 90280

Amigos de los Rios has partnered with City of South Gate to enhance and transform this traditional Los Angeles River Adjacent Park into a key feature area along the regional greenway network. The former grass landscape of the park has based transformed into a native plant landscape to celebrate flora and fauna of our watershed and enhance recreation opportunities for children and families.

Hollydale Park now features a healthier urban forest integrating bioswales and infiltration planters for stormwater management, Water Wise native habitat, a nature trail, new play equipment and educational elements. We are now working on the next phase of sustainable feature within the park.
